Paul Mostyn, MS, P.A.S., received his education at Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition. Primary scientific interest include: protein and energy metabolism in ruminant animals, ruminant utilization of fat sources, ruminant utilization of sugars, animal supplementation practices, interactions of supplementation with major dietary components, and the formulation and manufacture of products designed for supplementation.
Paul has worked at Westway Feed Products for approximately 25 years. His current position includes overseeing the formulations department, the laboratory, and feed regulatory activities. He has been and continues to be involved in the evaluation of new ingredients, the development of new supplementation products, FDA approvals for medicated supplements, and new ingredient definitions. He is as member of The American Registry of Professional Animal Scientist as well as being an active member of several other professional associations.
